What we spend and how we spend it
A report which sets out the financial position of NHS South of England is presented to each Board meeting and is available as part of our Board papers.
Every year the three strategic health authorities that now make up NHS South of England have published annual accounts, details of which can be found below.

Board Members expense claims
Board members are permitted to reclaim reasonable expenditure that they have incurred during the course of their work for the organisation.
Expenditure over £25,000
As part of the Government’s commitment to greater transparency, there has been a requirement to publish all expenditure over £25,000 from April 2010. This is published by each of the three strategic health authorities that make up NHS South of England.
Staff pay and grading structure
Directors’ salary details can be accessed by clicking the link to our Annual Reports. All other NHS salaries are paid in accordance with the pay bandings as per the Agenda for Change national terms and conditions.
